All Universal Restraint Systems products are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the duration of the warranty period specific to each product. Customers are encouraged to refer to the warranty card provided with their product or consult a Universal Restraint Systems representative for specific coverage details.
During the applicable warranty period, Universal Restraint Systems will, at its discretion, repair or replace—free of charge—any product or component found to be defective in materials or workmanship. This warranty does not cover products that have been misused, abused, neglected, involved in accidents, altered, or repaired without prior authorisation from Universal Restraint Systems. Products supplied by Universal Restraint Systems but manufactured by third parties are covered only to the extent of the original manufacturer’s warranty.
To initiate a warranty claim, defective products must be returned to Universal Restraint Systems within the warranty period with prepaid transportation. Once the claim is accepted, Universal Restraint Systems will bear the cost of return transportation.
This warranty replaces all other express or implied warranties, including but not limited to any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Universal Restraint Systems shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages, including loss of vehicle use, cargo, or profits.
All warranties are conditional upon the proper use of the products for their intended applications. No warranty shall apply to products that have been modified, installed, serviced, or repaired by the distributor or customer—other than by Universal Restraint Systems—without prior written approval. Additionally, the warranty does not apply to products damaged by accidents, neglect, improper use, or exposure to harsh chemicals, extreme temperatures, or prolonged exposure to the elements.
